Double apostillation of documents

Such countries as Austria, Holland (Netherlands), Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland require affixing double apostille. In this case, the first apostille is affixed to the original document, and then you should notarize the translation accuracy and affix the second appostile to it in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The countries that have not signed the Hague Convention of 1961 use consular legalization as confirmation of documents legitimacy. Confirmation of legitimacy of Ukrainian documents is not required in most CIS countries-participants of the Minsk Convention as of January 22, 1993 (as amended on March 28, 1997): Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. The countries that have concluded a bilateral agreement with Ukraine on legal assistance in civil matters: Czech Republic, Hungary, China (except for Hong Kong and Macao), Vietnam, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia does not require confirmation of the Ukrainian documents.

Apostille is usually affixed to documents within five-fourteen days.
